At our Torpoint Club, we practice ITF style Taekwondo in an inclusive and friendly way that aims to develop students into confident and balanced individuals. Taekwondo is the way of the foot and the fist, developed in Korea during the 1940's and 1950's and rooted in modern science to be an effective means of personal development and self defence. It has also become a world renowned competitive sport.

Mondays - Carbeile Junior School, Trevol Road, PL11 2NH
Tiny Class - 5pm to 5:45pm
Junior Class - 6pm to 7pm
Adult Class - 7pm to 8pm

Junior Class (7-12 year old)

Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, Indomitable Spirit

In these classes, your children will progress through an in-depth syllabus covering patterns, technique, sparring and self defence. I will take them from white belt beginner to black belt student.
They will develop their fitness and confidence as they gain the physical and mental benefits of practicing martial arts, all whilst training amongst like minded people and friends.

Cadets and Adult Class

Junior Blue Belts and children aged 12 to 18 years old are invited to train with the Adult students to help them develop their maturity and skill, so they can tackle the challenges of school and becoming adults.

Adults will develop their fitness and confidence as they gain the physical and mental benefits of practicing martial arts, all whilst training amongst like minded people and friends.

Hi, I'm Myles, a veteran of HM Armed Forces with over a decade of service. My passion for complementary therapy, yoga and martial arts has led me to create Valley Spirit Health and Fitness, to help others find a way to improve their health and wellbeing and achieve their highest self.​​
​
I have been practicing martial arts for over 2 decades, including Tai Chi and Krav Maga. I am fully licenced and recognised as an instructor by ITF England and I am also a member of the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association, the leading regulator for martial arts clubs in the UK.
​
In my spare time I enjoy reading, working on arts and crafts projects, growing my own food and going on woodland walks with my wife and daughter.
